Inspired during a trip to Venice, Nancy added a new line of linen textiles and the Federica line is born. Still today it is the most popular and timeless textiles in the collection.
The conception of a textile line was added with the introduction of Ti-Silks.
The first general office and inventory warehouse consisting of 10,000 sq. ft. opened on Washington Blvd in Culver City. Nancy hired her first employees to handle in house upholstery.
Pacific Showrooms West in San Francisco was the first to represent Nancy’s line. Today there are 16 showrooms across the country and one in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Nancy realized the need for more unique & a wider variety of designs in addition to the classics. This triggered Nancy’s design of the Napoleon Lounge Chair, which has proven to be one of the most successful pieces in the line and has been copied all over the world.
Recognized the need to sell finished and upholstered chairs and to have her own factory. She moved to a slightly larger showroom on Robertson Blvd offering a small selection of finished and upholstered chairs.
Nancy starts C&C Imports with the idea of a small business selling raw chair frames imported from Spain. Her first showroom selling raw frames opened on Robertson Blvd in Los Angeles.
